#4 Impatience Is A Virtue

Daily DebriefingI’m an impatient person. That is probably why I love to write the shorter tale. I like everything now, done, complete, packaged away. If I were a kid today I would likely be diagnosed with Attention Deficit Disorder. I find it annoying that nowadays everything is a condition. No-one is normal anymore. Impatience, passion, eagerness to get on and enthusiasm to explore and do many things at the same time is a normal, natural way of being. Like anything, too much of a good thing can be detrimental. Too much enthusiasm, eagerness and excitement can lead to hyper-activity which can lead to all kinds of calamities if allowed to get out of hand. I am so glad I am not a child in today’s world and had a normal, healthy upbringing which allowed me to be myself. And let’s face is – I’m a little weird. Even I know that!

Today my impatience was out of hand. I was having a bad hair day, and, as ever, when I am feeling or experiencing something – it gets written in…!

Today’s somewhat light-hearted Telling Tale is a sexy one, featuring Clara, an impatient, but clever girl who begins her normal working day with very bad hair. 1844 words in length, ‘Impatience Is A Virtue’ somewhat disproves the old saying ‘Patience Is A Virtue’. If only all bad hair days could end like this and impatience was indeed just such a virtue!
